The greatest joy perfection could experience after perfection, would be encountering imperfection or having that ‘perfection’ challenged. Without that, perfection would have no real importance, sort of self annihilating the point. Perhaps this human infection of destructive intellect is precisely the stimulus that keeps the system, the bigger system, sharp and seeking a better this or that. It would certainly reframe the conduct of my fellow humans better than I presently can. Perhaps, like that paradox in the matrix, we’re part of the necessary self check against perfection. Something that says “If it were perfect, we wouldn’t have produced this right” – I know that sounds cold, but look around, how do you think we’re doing?”
